Asteria Interactive

Asteria Interactive is a Swiss indie studio creating cinematic, narrative-driven interactive experiences that blend games, technology and art. We focus on atmospheric worlds, strong visual identity, immersive storytelling and experimental digital experiences.

Asteria Interactive is an independent Swiss creative studio focused on developing immersive, narrative-driven digital experiences that bring together video games, storytelling, visual art and technology. Our work explores the space between traditional games and interactive media, with an emphasis on atmosphere, cinematic presentation, environmental storytelling and unconventional ways of involving the player in a narrative. We are particularly interested in projects that use interaction not simply as a gameplay mechanic, but as part of the storytelling itself. Our current flagship project, Alteration, is a first-person narrative experience blending psychological horror, science fiction and philosophical mystery. Built around surreal environments, ancient languages, symbolism and puzzle-solving, the project reflects our broader interest in creating experiences that encourage curiosity, interpretation and emotional engagement rather than relying solely on conventional gameplay structures. Alongside game development, Asteria Interactive is interested in interactive installations, real-time 3D experiences, web-based interactive projects, virtual environments and other forms of digital storytelling. Our goal is to work across disciplines and explore how technologies traditionally associated with games can also be used in art, culture, communication and immersive media. Based in Ticino, Switzerland, we aim to collaborate with other developers, artists, designers, cultural institutions and creative professionals both locally and internationally.
